Types of disposable cutlery

• Plastic: Lightweight, inexpensive, and durable, but often restricted or banned in many regions because of environmental concerns.

• Wooden: Made from birch or other hardwoods; biodegradable and suitable for many food types.

• Bamboo: Strong, renewable, and naturally biodegradable.

• Compostable plant-based: Manufactured from materials such as cornstarch or polylactic acid (PLA). Some products require industrial composting facilities to break down properly.
